Praa Sands
The coastal village of Praa sands is located roughly halfway between Penzance and Helston, with 1 mile of golden sandy beach and plenty of coast line to wonder. With tropical looking seas it's ideal for a family day out, and is a great spot for surfers as the cove creates some of the best waves in Cornwall on the right day!

What is Praa Sands famous for...Smuggling!
Praa sands and Prussia cove played a huge part in Cornish smuggling history in the 18th century, John Carter the self- proclaimed ‘king of Prussia’ and his brothers used these coves as they are sheltered by the cliffs which helped them avoid being caught with contraband they had smuggled in. |
