Thank you for another lovely week. This is our 9th year at The Cottage and it still remains our favourite place to holiday. The weather has been good, only 2 days of rain, despite being windy the sun shone. Had some super meals. My favourite is the Seafood Cafe in St Ives. Thank you once gain Jacquie & Phil. Had a fantastic week. The cottage is cosy, clean and well stocked – useful when you first get here and are desperate for for milk! Visited Carbis Bay beach, only a 5 minute walk down the road and took the regular bus into St Ives and went surfing on Porthmeor Surf Beach. Surfboard & wetsuit hire on the beach is very cheap and there are twice daily lessons. St Ives is a lovely town to wander around – lots of pretty shops. Watch out for seagulls though!! Thank you very much to Jacquie & Phil for a lovely stay and fresh eggs from the chickens.
