The Seal Sanctuary, Gweek
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around our Cornish coastline. Over 70 seal pups are taken in by the sanctuary each season for various reasons - The sanctuary then releases them back into their natural environment once they have fully recovered and are ready to get back out there! Get up close to these amazing creatures in one of the three underwater viewing areas. The sanctuary is also dog friendly, so all members of the family can visit!

Newquay zoo is a fantastically popular and exciting family day out in Cornwall! Just a short walk from Newquay's town centre, the zoo is a leader in research and conservation work of endangered animals. It also hosts a park which features an outdoor play area and tunnel slides! The famous Flambards theme park in Helston is a great day out, especially for the kids! Brave the sky-high thrill rides, or enjoy the undercover soft play area. They do say Flambards is the ‘best day of the week!’.

The Monkey Sanctuary, Looe
The Monkey Sanctuary located in Looe is the place to learn about primates, where they come from, and how/why they have ended up in the sanctuary. The sanctuary have been protecting primates for 50 years, and continue to rescue and help recover monkeys who haven't had the best start to life.
Home to 40 individuals each with their own unique characters and cheeky personalities, the centre is an educational fun day out for kids and adults alike!

The Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay
Would your kids like to see Black Tip Reef Sharks, giant pacific octopus’s and underwater tunnels?! Then the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay is a must-see attraction! Get up close and personal with amazing sea life walking through the underwater tunnels, including a variety of big sharks, brightly coloured fish and also the venomous lionfish!
The aquarium is home to more than 40 innovative displays of underwater sea life, with regular feeding displays and rock-pool workshops, this is a great place to take the kids for a few hours!
